Boston is a town and small port in Lincolnshire, on the east coast of England, approximately 100 miles north of London.  It is north of Greenwich on the Prime Meridian.

This year’s 2019 Illuminate Parade will take place during the Boston Christmas Market which will include the Boston Christmas Lights switch-on.

The Christmas Market will feature live entertainment in the evening, a variety of stalls in the Market Place and Wide Bargate, Santa’s Grotto (in the Stump), the Lights Switch-On by Christmas in Boston.and much more.

As with previous years, the event will feature an Illuminate Parade by Transported to commemorate the town’s historical links with the Pilgrims and ties to America.

Boston Illuminate is part of the Pilgrim Roots ‘Pilgrim Festival’, a two-week festival in the home towns and villages of many of the Mayflower Pilgrims including Gainsborough, Bawtry, Boston, Retford, Worksop and Immingham.
