Rose®  Parade 2020

MAYFLOWER FLOAT IN 2020 ROSE PARADE

MAYFLOWER  was a floral float in the 2020 Tournament of Roses®  Parade in Pasadena, California, on New Year’s Day,  thanks to the efforts of the California Mayflower Society.

Mayflower II is a national treasure like the Statue of Liberty.  It has a deep meaning to most Americans because it speaks to our collective history as immigrants.  It is the topic of a new best selling book, The Wicked Pilgrim by Randal Charlton.

The dramatic true story behind the building of Mayflower II

The Rose®  Parade was carried LIVE on television networks reaching 120 million households in the USA starting at 8AM Pacific / 11 AM Eastern Time January 1, 2020.  ABC, NBC, Hallmark Channel and Univision provided broadcast coverage.

30 Million Americans can trace their ancestry to Mayflower passengers.   Many of those descendants were among the millions of people who watched the ship and heard her story as major television networks from around the world cover the parade live.  The Rose®  Parade was also carried LIVE and delayed on television outlets worldwide.
