JFK READS DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE 

John F. Kennedy loved sailing, democracy and the Mayflower II. 

On July 4, 1957, he read the full text of the Declaration of Independence over WQXR Radio in New York City as Mayflower II was docked just down the street along the Hudson River.
